Zero Crabbity
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
This game was created as part of the three-day game jam "Production Days 2023" in the Game Design department of the Zurich University of the Arts.
The task was to develop a cozy pinball game in the setting and atmosphere of a cruise ship. To make the game more interesting, we relocated the cruise ship to outer space and equipped it with aliens and designed a self invented wood-punk style. The game had to be accessible to casual players and the content had to fill about 5 minutes of game time.
In "Zero Crabbity" you have to guide a little Alien-Crabby through the space cruise ship to find its owner. It has eaten a gravity-remote and you can now manipulate the gravity on the ship to guide your way through the different sections on the space-cruise. Along the way, you can collect all sorts of items to bring back as gifts for the Crabby's owner.
